Work Bio
Sean Doorly joined Warner Bros. in 2007 and currently leads the day-to-day operations as Vice President for the Marketing Operations team at Warner Bros. Worldwide Television Marketing. He is also a Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
Sean currently directs the acquisition, distribution, and data analysis of Warner Bros. TV and theatrical marketing assets to over 1,400 clients worldwide, including HBO Max, international broadcast networks (Sky, Bell Media, Prosieben), SVOD companies (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon), and domestic syndicated networks.
Other notable accomplishments include: defining the digital strategy for the overhaul of DCComics.com, developing a new video ad-logic system for CWTV.com, and a key founder of the Warner Bros. Television Distribution Screeners App, a company-wide secure screening system for full TV episodes and films.
Before joining Warner Bros., Sean worked at AOL and helped launch and manage In2TV, one of the first full-episode online streaming sites that showcased the Warner Bros.Television catalog of titles. Sean also helped create the AOL Music Channel in the early 2000s.
Before his positions at AOL and Warner Bros., Sean managed online sites for other entertainment properties, including; Premiere Magazine Online, Road & Track Magazine Online, Channel One, and The Book Report Network.
Sean is married to Denise Gretchen-Doorly, a psychologist in private practice, and has a seven-year-old daughter, Katarina. He is an active Board Member at Katarina’s school and is responsible for managing their website. He also volunteered as an Executive Mentor to start-up companies at Media Camp, a Turner/Warner Bros. initiative that helps young entrepreneurs build innovative media businesses. At Channel One, Sean helped mentor high school students during “Student-Produced Week” — a project that allowed teenagers to produce, report, direct, and design an entire week of news programming. Sean is also a Founding Board Member of the Tech@WB Business Resource Group.
Sean is an avid photographer. His digital photos have been featured on IGN, TechRepublic, Playstation Magazine, and The History Workshop. His print photos have appeared at the Orange County Fair and the King Gillette Ranch Visitor Center in Calabasas, CA. In January 2020, he was the Featured Artist at the Mark Comon Gallery in Torrance, CA. He is also the event photographer at Katarina’s school.
